Lake Nembia

Nembia Lake nature reserve

Nembia is located a short distance from the famous Lake Molveno, in the western part of Trentino and in close proximity to the Brenta Dolomites, the youngest massif of the famous mountain range. It’s a small body of water, 400 metres long and 130 metres wide.

The maximum depth is also not very low, reaching just a few metres. The lake is surrounded by a nature reserve, equipped with an educational trail accompanied by 14 panels giving information on the natural beauty of the area. The route is ring-shaped, almost 3km long, with no differences in level, and lasts about an hour and a half. It is often frequented by alpine animals such as squirrels, foxes, deer and roe deer, other than mountain swallows, ravens and the rare wallcreeper.
